Update time resets every month.
Monthly update allowances do not roll over, accumulate, transfer to another project or have a cash value. Resetting the allowance each month allows Nearby North to reserve reliable support capacity for every care-plan customer.

Monthly billing
Care plans are billed monthly in advance. Standard care plans continue month-to-month unless they are attached to a 12-month Website Partnership.
Changing your plan
You can upgrade or downgrade a standard care plan. Changes normally take effect on the next billing date unless otherwise agreed.
Cancelling a standard care plan
Month-to-month care plans can be cancelled with at least 30 days’ written notice. Service continues through the paid billing period. Monthly fees, completed work and previously purchased third-party costs are non-refundable.
Moving the website
Nearby North can provide a reasonable website-transfer package when requested and after the account is paid in full. Migration work, premium software replacement and third-party configuration may require an additional fee.

Your Business, Your Website
You keep control of the assets that belong to your business.
You retain ownership of your domain, branding, original photos, business information, customer data, Google Business Profile, analytics accounts and completed website content.
Nearby North may use licensed themes, plugins, fonts, stock assets, hosting tools or development software while managing the website. Some licences are held by Nearby North and may require replacement if the website moves to another provider.

Support
A clear place to turn when something needs attention.
Support requests should be submitted through the designated Nearby North support channel. Response times refer to when the request will be reviewed and acknowledged and do not guarantee that every request will be completed within the same period.
Urgent issues involving a completely unavailable website, confirmed security breach or broken lead form will be prioritized. Requests received outside regular business hours may be reviewed on the next business day.

What happens if my website breaks after an update?
Nearby North completes post-update checks and maintains daily backups. If an update causes a confirmed issue, the website can be reviewed and restored or corrected using the available backup and maintenance tools.
Can you manage a website that you did not build?
Possibly. Nearby North will first review the website, hosting environment, software and current condition. A cleanup, migration or onboarding fee may be required before the website can enter a care plan.
Do unused website-update minutes roll over?
No. Monthly update allowances reset each billing period and do not accumulate or have a cash value. This allows Nearby North to reserve reliable support capacity for every care-plan customer.
What counts as a website update?
Website updates include practical changes to existing content, such as replacing text or images, adjusting business information, adding testimonials, updating links or making small changes to an existing section.
Can the monthly allowance be used to build a new page?
A small change to an existing page may fit within the monthly allowance. New multi-section pages, substantial redesigns or advanced functionality are normally quoted as separate work.
How quickly will update requests be completed?
Response times depend on the selected plan and the request’s size. Essential Care requests are normally reviewed within three business days, Local Care within two business days and Growth Care within one business day.
Is hosting included?
Yes. Managed WordPress hosting is included with every Website Care Plan.
Can I cancel my plan?
Standard care plans are month-to-month and can be cancelled with at least 30 days’ written notice. Website Partnerships have an initial 12-month commitment before becoming month-to-month.
Do I own my website?
Yes. You retain ownership of your domain, branding, business content, original photos, customer data and completed website content, subject to any active Website Partnership commitment.
What happens if I move my website elsewhere?
Nearby North can provide a reasonable website-transfer package after the account is paid in full. Some software licences may not transfer and may need to be replaced by the customer or their new provider.
